The Centre mapped water hyacinth infestation zones in the Niger Delta and developed ways to use the plant as a raw material for crafts, furniture, cosmetics, healthcare products, and textiles.
The brochure reports more than 300 water hyacinth products, over 1,500 nature-based product blends, and the recycling and upcycling of more than 20 classifications of marine resources.
